JKPSC Lecturer Recruitment 2024: The Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) has issued a notification inviting applications for the recruitment of 575 School Lecturers in the School Education Department of the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir.
Applications, through online mode, are invited from the eligible candidates who are domiciled in the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir possessing the prescribed Academic /Professional qualification and age for the posts details of which are given in the succeeding paras, in terms of the “Jammu & Kashmir School Education Department (Gazetted) Service Recruitment Rules, 2010 issued vide SRO 481 dated 30.12.2010, amended vide SRO-438 & 439 dated 11.12.2015 and Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (Business and Procedure) Rules, 2021, as amended upto date.

JKPSC Lecturer Recruitment 2024 Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification: A Master’s degree in the relevant subject with at least 50% marks from a recognized university.
- Domicile: Candidates must be domiciles of Jammu & Kashmir.
JKPSC Lecturer Recruitment 2024 Age Limit
- Minimum Age: 21 years
- Maximum Age: 40 years
- Age Relaxation: A candidate seeking his/her consideration under Reserved Categories must ensure that he/she possesses a valid requisite Category certificate and on the cut-off date and the category certificate is as per the format prescribed under Reservation Rules, 2005 of UT of J&K
Selection Process
The selection process will consist of the following stages:
- Written Examination: The written examination will be conducted online and will consist of two papers:
- Paper 1: General Studies (100 marks)
- Paper 2: Subject-specific paper (200 marks)
- Document Verification: Candidates who qualify in the written examination will be shortlisted for document verification.
- Interview: Candidates who clear the document verification will be called for an interview.

- Fill in the online application form with accurate details.
- Upload the required documents, including your photograph and signature.
- Pay the application fee via the online payment gateway.
- Submit the form and take a printout for future reference.
Application Fee
After successful submission of the online application form, candidate will be required to deposit requisite fee through online mode. The amount of fee to be paid is given below:
- General Category – Rs. 1200
- Reserved Categories – Rs. 700
- PHC Candidates – Nil

- Date of Birth certificate (Secondary School/Matric Certificate- 01 leaf.
- Domicile certificate – 01 leaf.
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Post Graduation Degree along with consolidated marks card.
- M.Phil Degree certificate along with consolidated marks sheet.
- Ph.D degree (in the relevant subject) certificate/MSP certificate.
