CSIR-IIIM Recruitment 2024: The Council of Scientific & Industrial Research – Indian Institute of Integrative Medicine (CSIR-IIIM) has issued a recruitment notification for the positions of Tech Assistant and Technician. CSIR-Indian Institute of Integrative Medicine (CSIR-IIIM), Jammu, is a premier R&D Institute under Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), an autonomous body under the Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India. The Institute is engaged in high quality Research and Development with a primary focus on drug discovery from natural resources.
This Institute invites OFFLINE applications for recruitment to the posts of Technical Assistant and Technician (1) as per the details given below. CSIR-IIIM strives to have a work-force which reflects Gender balance and Woman candidates are encouraged to apply.

CSIR IIIM Recruitment 2024 Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification and Experience
- Technical Assistant:
- Essential: Bachelor’s Degree in relevant subjects (e.g., Chemistry, Zoology, Botany, Microbiology, etc.) with at least 60% marks and one year of relevant experience.
- Desirable: Experience in handling advanced analytical instruments, working in quality control labs, or research labs.
- Technician (Grade 1):
- Essential: 10th Standard with 55% marks and ITI certificate in the relevant trade or 2 years of full-time apprenticeship in the relevant field.
- Desirable: Hands-on experience in laboratory work, maintenance, or relevant technical skills.
Age Limit (as of 31.01.2025)
- Technical Assistant: Maximum 28 years
- Technician (Grade 1): Maximum 28 years
- Relaxations apply as per government norms for reserved categories.
Selection Process
The selection process may include the following stages:
- Written Test: A written test may be conducted to assess the candidates’ knowledge and skills.
- Skill Test/Practical Test: Candidates may be required to appear for a skill test or practical test to evaluate their practical abilities.
- Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview to assess their suitability for the position.

SC/ST/PwBD/Women/Ex-servicemen/Abroad Candidates and regular CSIR Employees are exempted from submission of application fee
