AAI Junior Assistant: Airports Authority of India invites online applications from eligible candidates who are domiciled in West Bengal, Bihar, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, and Sikkim for the post of Junior Assistant (Fire Service) NE-4 level, at various AAI airports and other AAI Establishments in the above States/UT in Eastern Region.
Applicants shall apply online only through the Airports Authority of India Website i.e. https://www.aai.aero/en/careers/recruitment for the above post at AAI Airports/Establishments under AAI.
The number of vacancies is tentative. Airports Authority of India Reserves the right to increase or decrease the vacancies depending upon the future requirements. AAI also reserves the right to modify/alter/restrict/enlarge/cancel the recruitment process, if the need so arises without issuing any further notice or any reasons whatsoever. The decision of the Management will be final and no appeal shall be entertained.

AAI Junior Assistant Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:
- 10th Pass + 3 years approved regular Diploma in Mechanical / Automobile / Fire. 12th Pass (Regular Study).
- Valid Heavy Vehicle Driving License; Valid Medium Vehicle License issued at least one year before the date of advertisement i.e.01/11/2024.
- Valid Light Motor Vehicle License (LMV) issued at least two years before the date of advertisement i.e. 01/11/2024
Age Criteria: The candidates’ Age shall be 18 to 30 years as of 01/11/2024 and the upper age limit is relaxable as follows:
- 3 years for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) as of 01/11/2024.
- 5 years for SC/ST as of 01/11/2024.
- Age, Qualification, Experience, etc. shall be reckoned as on 01/11/2024.
Selection Process
- Stage 1: Computer-Based Test (CBT)
- Duration: 2 hours
- Subjects:
- Part A: Subject-related questions (50%)
- Part B: General Knowledge, General Intelligence, General Aptitude, English (50%)
- Minimum qualifying marks:
- UR/OBC/EWS: 50 out of 100
- SC/ST: 40 out of 100
- Stage 2: Physical Fitness Test
- Physical Measurements
- Endurance Tests: 100m running, casualty carrying, pole climbing, rope climbing, ladder climbing.
- Medical Examination
- Training
- Selected candidates will undergo 18 weeks of Basic Training Course (BTC).
Fee payment should be made online through net banking, credit card, debit card, or UPI.
